Research Arena Week 2025 – University of Sargodha
Research Arena Week 2025 represents one of the most ambitious and comprehensive academic initiatives undertaken by the University of Sargodha. This flagship event is designed to showcase the University’s commitment to research excellence, intellectual collaboration, and meaningful societal impact. Over the course of one intensive week, a diverse portfolio of 70 academic and research-driven activities will be delivered, bringing together scholars, practitioners, industry partners, policymakers, and community stakeholders.
This year’s Research Arena features a carefully curated set of high-impact events, including Seven International Research Conferences that will convene leading global scholars to address emerging trends and transformative ideas across disciplines. Complementing these are Two National Research Conferences, providing an essential platform for Pakistani researchers to share, debate, and disseminate their work within a broader scientific community.
To strengthen academic dialogue and advance capacity building, the week will further include Nine Seminars, Nine Workshops, Five Symposiums, Four Webinars, and Four Panel Discussions, each structured to facilitate specialized learning, critical discourse, and the exploration of contemporary challenges. Additionally, Two Research Colloquiums will bring together early-career researchers and seasoned academics for intellectual engagement and mentorship.
A key highlight of Research Arena Week 2025 is the series of Twenty-One Research and Industrial Expos, designed to bridge academic innovation with industry applications. These expos will demonstrate the University’s research capabilities while enabling strategic partnerships, technology showcasing, and knowledge exchange. The week will also feature Poster Presentations, One Media Forum, Four Community Engagement Activities, and Two Outreach Initiatives, underscoring the University’s commitment to public engagement and societal development.

Sustainable Approach
Aligned with global sustainability standards, all events within Research Arena 2025 will be conducted through an environmentally responsible approach. The University has adopted a strict green-event framework, ensuring that every activity reflects our sustainability principles. The entire week will operate under a fully paperless system, minimizing printing and promoting digital communication across all platforms. In support of ethical and sustainable consumption, beef and mutton have been excluded from all event menus, with a shift toward sustainable and locally sourced food options.
Further, the event will prioritize the use of organic and biodegradable materials, significantly reducing single-use waste and promoting circular practices. All venues and activities will be powered through 100% green energy solutions, making Research Arena Week 2025 a model for environmentally conscious academic events. To reduce carbon emissions associated with mobility, the University will encourage the use of public and shared transportation for participants, staff, and attendees.
Research Arena Week 2025 embodies the University of Sargodha’s vision of integrating academic excellence with sustainability, collaboration, and innovation.
